Student’s climate strike against the aviation industry

The aviation industry contributes massive amounts of CO2 to the climate breakdown. And yet, airports like Schiphol are encouraged to grow, kerosine isn't taxed, and plane tickets are sold for cheap while train tickets to the same destination are much more expensive.

We cannot afford this celebrated industry as we try to avoid extinction. Aviation needs to be restricted. To demand measures against it, we will march from the Vrije Universiteit campus to the KLM headquarters and let our voices be heard at the national aviation pride: the Royal Dutch Airlines.
